So I have been cleaning up the house.
When your kids move out you suddenly find you have tons of space and a lot of crap.
So we (and no this is not the royal 'we', Jeffery and I are both in on this) are working on cleaning out years of accumulation that at some point will need another home
(i.e. garage sale in the works . . . big garage sale in the works).
So today I took on the hall closet and so far it's a tie as to who is winning.
This has been the dumping ground for several years of all the linen, doilies
(grandma's doilies which I am too soft hearted to dump),
numerous heating pads (don't ask)
and toilet paper.

But I have always wanted to clean it up and
create a central location for all my cleaning products
On the top shelf - away from small hands.

So today I did it, with a little help from a Pinterest idea.
The before - notice all the happy bottles on the shelf.
Well above that shelf is A LOT of wasted space.
You know that area, way up in the closet, where nothing fits.
So ignore the holes in the walls. When we renovated the bathroom shower
we knocked some nails back into the closet.
Patching and painting the closet are on the list but . . . . all in good time.
See the happy pole in the top of my closet :) I got this from the front bathroom
where I had it over the shower area for drying wet clothes
but since the front bath is nothing more than a guest bath now
I STOLE IT! Bwhahahaha. Uh, no, sorry. Another story.
So now hang the bottles with the sprayer heads and VOILA!
It's like having an extra shelf and it's even higher away from small hands!
It doesn't look bad either - except for the holes in the wall part :P
Enjoy!
